RCGP 2020年シーズンは中止。2021年へ

RCレースの最高峰シリーズとして昨年はじまったRCGPが2020年シーズンの中止を発表しました。

RCGPは3つの大陸、4つのラウンド、8つのレースを戦うシリーズ。

またその様子はインターネットで動画配信され、ファンは無料で視聴することができました。

現在2021年シーズンの復活に向けて動いているそうです。

なお、昨年のスポンサーは契約を更新しているとのこと。

RCGP Season Two - 2021 

RCGP was imagined and implemented to showcase our sport at its best. Season one successfully brought together many of the best manufactures and drivers in the world, contesting eight races, in four rounds, on three continents, supported by factory teams, managers, mechanics, hundreds of amateur racers, superb facilities and other partners – all streamed live for free with bespoke pre and post race content also available.
The off season was busy, and despite all the founding teams re-signing, Beach RC, HB Racing, Infinity, JQRacing and SWorkz and as well as Team Associated officially supporting Scuderia Scampi Rosso, we have not been able to put together a season that will meet, or more importantly exceed the standard set in season one, so a decision has been made to postpone the second season.
During this extended gap between seasons there will be new video releases including a new documentary series called DRIVEN, as well as plans set in action to come back stronger in 2021.
We would like to say thank you to our supporters around the world online, thank you to all the RC2 drivers who entered any of the races, thank you to RCGP’s teams, drivers, managers and owners, thank you to RCGP’s sponsors, tyre suppliers and track owners and thank you to the RCGP media and admin teams, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.
We hope to see you trackside or online for RCGP next year.
